How to Schedule Campaign

Step 1: Login to Your Account #

To create a new campaign, you need to be logged into your SMSLocal.com account. If you need help logging in, click here for detailed instructions.

Once logged in, you will be directed to your dashboard.

Step 3: Access Campaigns #

On the dashboard, locate the Campaigns tab in the top menu bar. Click on it to open the campaign options.

Step 4: Select “Create New Campaign” #

In the Campaigns section, click on Create New Campaign. You will be directed to a page that looks like the one shown below:

Step 5: Fill in the Campaign Details #

Follow these steps to complete your campaign setup:

  1. Campaign Name: Enter a unique name for your campaign.
  2. From: Choose your sender ID or phone number.
  3. Account: Select the account to send the campaign from.
  4. Recipients: Add groups or lists of numbers, or import a file with recipient details.
    • You can apply filters such as removing duplicates or blacklisted numbers.
  5. Message: Write your message or select a saved template.
    • You can add personalized tags such as name, phone number, etc.

To schedule your campaign, follow these detailed steps:

  1. Schedule Date: Select the date when you want the campaign to start. This allows you to plan ahead and launch the campaign at a specific time.
  2. Send Time: Choose the exact time of day you want your messages to be sent. You can adjust this to match your audience’s peak engagement times.
  3. Recurring Period: If your campaign needs to be sent 
  4. multiple times, you can set up a recurring schedule. This allows you to automate repeated messages at intervals such as daily, weekly, or monthly.
  5. Time Zone Settings:
    • You can choose to set the time zone automatically based on your current location, or
    • Manually select a time zone that fits your target audience. This is helpful if you are sending messages across different regions and want to ensure the timing aligns with their local time.
  6. By scheduling your campaign, you have full control over when and how your messages are delivered, ensuring maximum effectiveness and timely communication.

Step 7: Review and Send #

Once all the details are filled in, click Review to double-check everything, then hit Send to launch your campaign.
